    Update On The HYMNS Project!

First of all, thanks for your overwhelming response to our question, “What is your favorite hymn?”  I didn’t realize that we would get so many responses!  Obviously we’re not the only ones that still love the hymns of the church!  We did manage to narrow the list down to ten songs.  I know that we couldn’t do everyone’s favorite… but we’re very excited about the final list.  We will be moving toward completing the project really soon,  so we went to Nashville yesterday to record the tracks.  A special thanks to Matthew Holt for helping with the arrangements and playing piano during the recording session!  You’re awesome!   Also, thanks to Jeremy Medkiff (guitar), Roger Fortner (bass) and Garth Justice (drums) for your amazing talents!

I’m sure that many of you will be wondering what songs we chose… so here’s the final list:

It Is Well With My Soul
    The Haven Of Rest
    Blessed Assurance
Before The Throne Of God Above
    I Feel Like Traveling On
O, I Want To See Him
    My Jesus I Love Thee
When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder
Pass Me Not O Gentle Savior
I Love To Tell The Story

What do you think about the final list?  Did one of your favorites make the cut?
