The Dills are ready to record a new CD featuring some of today’s most popular Praise & Worship songs… but we need your help!
Recording new music and making it available to our friends, fans and supporters is a passion that we take very seriously… but often comes with a huge cost! We’ve never had to borrow money to record a new CD! This is a huge blessing since most independent artists have to take out a loan for thousands of dollars just to record a new project. However, when you add up the cost associated with studio musicians, engineers, producers, duplication, graphic design and mechanical license fees the recording process can easily cost $20,000 or more. Many times we are forced to wait about recording that new CD, simply because the money is not there. As always, we have no intention on borrowing money to make this CD… so that’s where we need YOUR help!
We’re giving you an opportunity to help fund this project and get lots of cool rewards in the process, such as digital downloads, autographed copies of the CD, t-shirts, your name listed inside the CD and much more. All of the levels of support are explained in detail right here on this page! We have set a goal of $10,000 and we are expecting to reach this goal within 30 days. You will be able come back here to monitor our progress. Once you make a donation, you will be given access to special “behind the scenes” updates, videos, and more.
With your support we are expecting to reach our goal so we have already stepped out on faith and started the process of finding songs for this new album. We are anticipating that the project will be completed by February 2012, so please prayerfully consider helping us reach our goal. Please remember that even the smallest donation is vital to the success of this project.

So great to hear from you! You know you have the support of both Kenny and myself! We love you guys and stand behind you in your efforts to touch people’s lives for Christ! In including us on the “Thank You” section of the CD, please include both Kenny and myself! We are NOT doing it for the recognition, as God knows our hearts, but know that we love and support you!

I am excited about your new project God has set before you. I know the money will be raised and the project will be completed. I am on a fixed income now, but as soon as I get my disability check this month I will make a donation to your wonderful cause. I loved your group ever since I heard you for the first time at Midway Baptist Church in Goose Creek. I am no longer the pianist there, but I still serve he Lord as pianist at Tall Pines Baptist Church. I’ll keep you in my prayers because when prayers go up… blessings come down.

I AM REALLY HAPPY THAT YOU ALL ARE PUTTING OUT NEW MUSIC, U STATE THAT YOU NEVER HAD TO BORROW MONEY TO MAKE A PROJECT, IN A WAY IT’S KINDA LIKE THAT BY ASKING PEOPLE FROM CHURCHES TO SEND YOU MONEY TO SUPPORT THE NEW MUSIC…DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE EVERYTHING YOU ALL DO AS FAR AS MUSIC,,,BUT U SHOULD GO AHEAD AND BORROW THE MONEY IF YOU ARE ASKING IT FROM OTHERS SO YOU CAN MAKE IT……JUST OPINION,,,I SURE OTHERS HAVE ONE THEY JUST ARE NOT SAYING IT…..
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and opinion Dennis. This is a new idea and process for us… and time will tell whether or not it was a good decision. Our intention is in no way to make people feel obligated or guilted into supporting us in the effort, but to give those interested an opportunity to take a bigger part in the recording process. Many will simply purchase the CD when it is completed… and that’s great. Some will be willing to go ahead support this effort at a level sufficient to get a copy as soon as it’s released and others will find value in the other “rewards” that we are making available.
Again, this is a new and exciting process for us. We do not expect everyone to financially support it… and it would be naive to expect everyone to agree with the decision to even do it. But we do hope that God is glorified and lives are changed throughout this process. Hopefully you will join with us in that desire!

Tim: Just listened to the clips of the new album. Its good but the mix seems heavy with one of the females….you may be looking for that sound but it struck me as odd compared to other recordings you all have made. FYI
Also, have you had an opportunity to look at some songs you might send me for the young lady I’m workign with?
One other thing…I’d love to hear a new solid version of the doxology!
