What did you do on the Fourth of July this year? Did you do anything special? We’d love to hear about it!
We spent the entire weekend on the road and had a great time. On Friday night we were in East Prairie, MO for their annual Sweet Corn Festival. The city closes down the streets for a street dance and celebration at 9 pm…but at 6 pm Elm Street Baptist Church provides FREE hamburgers, hotdogs, sweet corn, chips and drinks to anyone that comes out. This year they gave away over 700 hamburgers and hotdogs! We provided the music and entertainment for a few hours and then the church provided an awesome firework’s show afterwards. And yes…we all loaded up and left before the dancing started!
On Saturday we stopped by Bill & Cindy Keinbusch’s house for lunch and enjoyed some great fellowship before headed to McCrory, AR. We stopped and ate dinner at the Sonic when we arrived in McCrory. (It was the only place open!) While we were outside eating some folks decided to start the fireworks early and in the process caught the field on fire across the street. It brought back memories of living in a small town when the crowd started to gather to see what was happening. The McCrory Church of the Nazarene had another amazing firework’s display on Saturday night and also some pretty mean mosquitos! We worshipped with them on Sunday morning and had a great time. We also saw some family and friends that we’ve not seen a very long time. Our weekend wrapped up at Macon Road Baptist Church in Memphis on Sunday night. These folks are just like family and enjoying worshipping with them.
Don’t forget to check out the new photos that have been posted on the PHOTOS page. We have also changed that to allow you to post comments. The last thing that I would like to mention is the addition of a PRAYERS page on the site. We would love for each of you to post your prayer requests and testimonies on this page. We know that prayer changes things and we would love to pray and rejoice with you and those prayers are answered!
I enjoyed being with ya’ll sunday night! Great job! I can’t believe how big the girls are getting. Thanks for letting me help spoil them. They are precious. Thanks for everything ya’all do to further the kingdom of God and the sacrifices ya’all make to travel the world to tell the lost about Jesus christ.
Love and miss ya’ll very much,
Jennifer
Looking so forward to seeing you guys at Buena Vista tomorrow.

I really enjoyed the performance Sunday. Some of the best music I have heard at the Nazarene other than Unity of The Cross.
God Bless

We absolutely loved having y’all at The Nazarene Church in McCrory, Sunday morning. It was great to see that you were there to lead in worship and not to just entertain.
We spent a quiet 4th in Savannah. Thought about going to the Bluegrass thingy at the river park, but just rested and went to lunch at the Catfish Hotel which just can’t be beat! Also, worshiped and fellowshiped on Sunday with the homefolks at FBC Savannah!
It amazes me how the Dill kids all grow so fast (teens already and twins no longer little babies) but their parents just look better and better! Ha, wondering now if somebody is dying Tim’s curls……
Praying for you always!
great having you at are East Prairie sweet corn festival. you all have such great god given talent.
you lift us all up each time we hear you. it is rare for it to be so cool, and no mosquitos.
God Bless
